Finally got to finish these! I’ve been waiting to use these green aluminum earwires, and Week 9 offered the perfect opportunity. The beaded beads are flat even-count peyote (curled and stitched to make tubes). The green gemstone is dyed mountain “jade” (I think), which is a dolomite marble from Asia....

Tada! Knocked this one out in a couple of hours today. I got these glass focal pieces in a big jumble sale, and it was clearly their time to get put to use.

FINALLY. This Monday’s Color of the Day is finally NOT purple. 🙂 Still pondering flowery, delicate items for weeks 6 and 7. Must clear the purple backlog before I can move on to this one! [ RESULT ]

Since this week’s color is in the same family as last week’s, I decided to continue with the lilac stone rounds and create a pair of earrings to match last week’s necklace!
